To help these groups understand their offerings, RBC built an award-winning campaign that pioneered three first-to-market technologies for the insurance category, which included integrating a chatbot into their display campaign to help users find out what they needed most.

Scotiabank showcased all of their offerings at once
Scotiabank wanted to position their investment advisors as experts who would work with customers to personalize their retirement. They needed to find a way to target the right person with the right solution to build awareness and generate more meetings with advisors, so they partnered with Contobox to build expandable display that showcased all of their offerings at once. The creative was styled like a storybook with informational hotspots that provided users with more information and tracked their engagement.
For the campaign’s second phase, Scotiabank utilized our platform’s machine learning to rank user interest based on the first-party engagement data they collected, then segmented their audience to dynamically retarget them with non-expandable ads highlighting the offering they engaged with.
